MemberTerrific. They added a few more words to the email template, but you can still see it is just an automated reply.
Actually I got a reply from tech support, but they were under the impression that I have a problem with MSN Explorer 9 (I get the feeling this is why they wrote back in the first place), and it took three exchanged emails for them ro realise that I don’t even have MSN Explorer installed, and that the issue is purely down to MSN Messenger. Ever since I made this clear – nothing.

Member🙁 I am getting annoyed with these people….one of us should have gotten a response by now. With as many people I have found that are having this problem, they should have fixed it by now! This is just pitiful!!!!!!!!!

Member” it’s all ’bout the money ” is song what keeps playing in my ears at the moment.
I had this same bug over a month now, and was extremely annoyned, and noticed, ofcourse, I was not the only one.
Now, I use my hotmail as a primary e-mail, and it was soon filled with all sort of useful (and non-useful) mails which I kept in different folders, and space was running out quickly, so as a desperate act finally, I bought Microsoft’s “Extra Storage” service (20e=17$) .. and figures.. Messenger message notify started work in the same time.
Now, this might only be simply coincidence, and most likely is, but little bit this thing stinks. I though that messenger mail notification bug might have either something to do with amount of mails in the box, or type of the mailbox. Go figure. Anyhow, mine was fixed with that. Hopefully bug aint’s Microsoft’s another way to get money.

MemberOk…not understanding this, BUT…….. my mother’s alerts just started working tonight….we don’t know why and we haven’t gotten a response. But it did…so I don’t have a solve. If they happened to send a reason, I will post it. I sure hope that all of you have had the same amazing fix!

MemberAlerts started working for me again today also. I paid for extra storage last year and it’s up for renewal in a couple of months. Not sure if I want to renew or not. I have Extra Storage and still had this problem. MSN is getting to be a pain, while going up on prices for everything. Getting scared they are going to start charging for groups soon too.
