I’ve started experiencing a new problem with Messenger. When I go into a room (any room), I can no longer see anybody’s text, including mine. I don’t even see the room name and greeting line, don’t see any enters/leaves. The chatters names still appear but the chat window just stays totally blank. I have the same problem with private messages. When I type and send, I usually see what I’ve just sent in the PM box, but now I see nothing. I can still see at the bottom of the PM box that the person is responding, and hear the sound when it arrives, but I can’t see their text in the PM box either.
I’m running XP SP2, Messenger 6.0. The problem seems to have started since I switched to a wireless router (PC is directly connected to it). Interestingly enough, Yahelite still works just fine.
Any suggestions out there?
Yeah, I did a clean re-install, but with no success. Next thing to try is going back to an older version of messenger maybe. This is driving me crazy … I NEVER have problems 😡
umm how did u reinstall? Like uninstalling it and then installing it again or just reinstalled over it? I wuld suggest you to uninstall it first. and then install it again.
