I know I could search, but it would be nice if there was one place where I could browse all the past podcasts and show notes, don’t you agree? :p
May 3, 2006 at 9:07 pm #143691SpikeMemberI totally agree. How about a sub-forum under Announcements entitled “Podcast Show Notes Directory”? 😎
May 3, 2006 at 9:49 pm #143686Jeff HesterKeymasterFunny I was going to suggest something about this. I was wondering if perhaps a website could be made with all the podcasts in it like in blog style so you can click on past podcasts and search. Each podcast can be posted like a blogpost and under it the shownotes and links. I kind of have an idea of how the design would be except I can’t really make it. heh. Just a thought.

But why would you put it on a different site and/or software when, if you stick ’em in a subforum, you can still seatrch in that subforum and browse shownotes like a blog? :confused:May 4, 2006 at 1:10 am #143687Jeff HesterKeymasterI don’t know. I guess I was thinking perhaps it’d add more personality to it. Just a thought anyway. A subforum works. I’m up for anything as long as there’s organization. 😛

So this is me bumping this hoping maybe something can be put together to keep them together. Maybe a sticky in off-topic? You create a thread explaining the podcast then each new post shows the newest podcast with the shownotes… Just an idea.
*Of course you keep annoucing them in the Site News & Announcements section but this will be a commentless locked thread just to keep them together*
May 12, 2006 at 11:06 pm #143690TigerbladeParticipanti posted a sticky topic in the Site News & Announcements section with links to each podcast’s thread. now it’s just pending approval before it’s visible.

Eh. Next best thing to a sub-forum, I suppose. 😎May 13, 2006 at 7:12 pm #143688Jeff HesterKeymasterTom, thanks for posting the sticky, but I prefer a sub-forum. I’m thinking of also adding a little image or something on the right column to make it easy to spot.

Or…I just put this together:
May 14, 2006 at 3:37 am #143694SpikeMemberI didn’t think you could customize that forum image icon thing, can you?
May 14, 2006 at 5:30 am #143689Jeff HesterKeymasterNo, your other right. The same column where this image appears…
