I know this is probably not an isolated Windows Live Messenger problem, but it started to happen after I installed WLM 8.0.0812. After logining into my hotmail account via WLM or hotmail.com, I get this message in IE…

Have you attempted using other web browsers? This is the first I’ve heard of Messenger causing a connection error while attempting to log onto hotmail.

For curiosity purposes, did you try logging in while WLM was running, or not and are you using the beta of the hotmail (windows live mail)?
