October 16, 2004 at 12:58 am #41383panther8778MemberOkey, For 3 months this has bothered me, and after googling alot I finally found the solution, it is not a bug, all you have to do is go to the ie window, tools->internet options and go to advance tab, scroll down to the multimedia section and check the option that says “play animation in webpages”.

I’m aware that panther may not be around anymore but had to say THANKS! My smiley’s had stopped being animated and it really did bug me. I finally decided to do a search on it today and this post came up. Your solution worked great! Once again thanks!
