Greetings everyone. I’m new here but have been in Yahoo chat for about a year or so. Since installing version 6.0 I’ve noticed that the animated smileys no longer animate – in chat rooms or in private messages. Sure would like to know how to fix this. Anyone?
I have had that happen to me spratically but restarting the messenger ussually fixes it. Maybe you should try reinstalling 6.0 If you have had that problem since you downloaded it… I guess it could be possible that somthing happend during the download
Well, thanks for the feedback. A friend using version 6 “lost” total visibility of her smileys a couple of days ago and has tried deinstall/reinstall of Messenger, with no improvement.
I dunno. At least I can see them. *shrug*
Yeah sorry I can’t be of more assitance I can’t think of any reason they wouldn’t work. You can check to see if they are there by following this string. Start> My Computer> Program Files> Yahoo> Messenger> Media> Smileys… but I guess they must be there you still see them
yahoo sometimes “steals” my whistle face for a few hours and all I can see is :-” .. yet all my other faces will work fine. *shrugs* it’s yahoo.. enuff said.
