If a addon like middleman sit between the server and aol server..couldnt it like block ppl from warning u…since it comes from the server..well any thoughts would help lol
Simply put, nothing can block you from being warned.
It couldn’t block you from being warned, because your warned status is saved on AOL’s servers. You could probably block the message that told you that you got warned, but it wouldn’t stop you from getting warned. Your warning level would still affect your rate limit, because all those limits are done on AOL’s servers. (if you go over the rate limit, and actually send more messages..stopping the AIM client from preventing you, AOL will just disconnect you instead…which is worse then the little cant send anymore warnings the client gives you.
Another bit to add, if a client was installed on the person-who-is-warning’s computer, then it would get between his account and the AIM servers and stop the warning, you are just receiving the message.
