Well, my windows media player sucks and doesn’t play any files besides one of them so are there any others out there?
There are plenty of others which you could consider.
Winamp is one very popular one:
As is RealPlayer:

Another one, possibly not quite as well know, is BSPlayer. This plays all my videos, as well as audio.
