I absolutely adore Trillian Astra, and I wish I could use my Trillian Mini (which anyone using Astra can get the flash embed code for at http://www.trillianmini.com) in my forum signature.
There is BBCode available for embedding Flash in general (but it obviously isn’t currently allowed here on BBB). Anyone got any opinions on this besides me? I realize people can go crazy with it. But I’m guessing since most forum members don’t even bother trying to get away with fonts and colors they wouldn’t bother with Flash either. HTML would be riskier since copy and paste is easy for anyone to do, so I’m not really in favor of that.
Anyone else have anything Flash based like this they wish they could use? Did anyone ever miss the Flash BBCode being available? I’m pretty sure I can survive without it – but IMHO it would be nice to be able to at least use in signatures. Opinions please…..
Great suggestion, patndoris!
I added a “trillian_minibar” bbcode. You can specify the color theme as a parameter.
[HTML][trillian_minibar=platinum]astragirl[/trillian_minibar][/HTML]
Replace “platinum” with the color theme you want to use and “astragirl” with your Trillian Astra ID and you can insert in your signature.
[trillian_minibar=blue]bigblueball[/trillian_minibar]
