I was just wondering. Is the AOL instant messenger different for people that have AOL has their ISP, compared to someone that doesn’t and just downloads the Instant messenger online? Does the AOL isp users have different features on the instant messenger than someone that doesn’t use AOL for their isp?
Thanks,
If you have AOL, yes it is a little different. You get a few more features, and all the expressions and “superbuddy icons”. I am sure there is more, but I really detest AOL, so I don’t really stat up to date with them.
If you’re on AIM, you cannot view AOL users’ profiles. I can’t remember if AOL users can view AIM profiles though.
