MemberI assume you are talking about the one that is over AOL, AIM, etc, not the parent company?
If so, why don’t you send message at: http://corp.aol.com/contactus.html and ask them questions about what Jonathan Miller (Chairman/CEO of America Online) does and have on his AIM? 🙂

Memberna I just wanted to know if you guys had a clue?
April 29, 2004 at 5:39 am #45886Brian
MemberNo, I know nothing about Mr. Miller. I can imagine with his position title, he is an extremely busy man.

MemberYeah, I’m sure they spent a crapload of money developing a useful and cool AIM client just for the Chairman (who’s probably old as hell and has no reason to even use IM). Then decided to make a half-ass one for the rest of the world. Great business skills man. I feel dumber from reading this guys thread. Why, oh why, did I click on it….:)

Memberyeah, my mom use to work for AOL and she had an administrative account…its not that good, so dont drool over that extra menu they just showed there 😀
April 29, 2004 at 7:48 pm #45901f0rbez
Memberdoes that actually involve a different version of aim or does it just depend on the privledges that the account has? for instance, would an aol admin with a securid be able to use the public version of aim and still have those options?
