hello.
I use trillian to connect to aim. just recently, I and many users of trillian are constantly being disconnected from aim. And for me personally, after a few days that particular aim account will stop working. even when i use aim, i will get the notice that invalid password! wtf! so i searched on the Gaim forum, those users are those users are having the same problems! they get discconected, and their password got changed.
for me personally, evil aol people has changed two of my AIM account passwords. And before that one, I had another aim password changed.
so I might have the record, have three aim accounts changed passwords by evil aol!
so i am not delusional or paranoid. i think that it is 100% those evil aol people that are behind all of this!
i don’t think that there is a solution right now. we probably are forced to use aim again!
… i use trillian, and i’ve never had a problem with any passwords being changed. could you give us a link to these forums where you say people have had their passwords changed?
and i’m pretty sure it’s not those evil aol people. if you’re having problems, it’s likely due to a virus or some malware that was installed on your computer.
