Hi All,
I have a problem with AOL instant messenger. My setup is as follows.
I have two machines. One of them(HOST 1) is directly connected to the Internet and the other machine(HOST 2) is behind a firewall. I tried to establish a video connection from HOST 2 to HOST1. The connection got established and the video works fine. But the problem is that when I start video from Host 1 to HOST 2 , it works sometimes and doesn’t work sometimes. I saw the capture in both failure and successful cases but they are similar. The problem is because of HOST 1 not sending video data to HOST1. I don’t understand this because it works sometimes with the same packet flow.
Could any one please help me in sorting out this problem.
Regards
Surya Santosh
Personally, I’ve never had luck with AIM video. It never connected for some reason, therefor, I don’t use it…
