I have noticed some screen names have .ca or .uk behind them which I assume stands for Canada or England which is where the profile usually associates them. If someone outside the U.S. creates an account does it automatically tag them with a country identifier or is that the individual doing that themself? Just curious to find out if you are truly chatting with someone outside the U.S. or someone just goofing around.
You can create whatever Yahoo! account you want. It all depends on the Yahoo! page you go to and where you say you “live” sometimes….but as I recall, that doesn’t even matter. You can always get an account from another country, HOWEVER, I would suggest you are able to read that country’s language….sometimes they have different TOS than the US version. You can always get Yahoo! from another country in another lang. and then switch the lang. to whatever you want later on. Hope this wasn’t too confusing…I just woke up from a nap. 😀
