What is Empire Avenue? It’s a stock market where you buy and sell shares in other people based on the value of their social network. There is no cost — you’re not using real money, but their own currency called EAves.
What’s the point? For some, it’s a game to see how much “money” they can accumulate. For others, it’s a tool that they use to measure their engagement levels on various social networks.
Empire Avenue calculates your “share price” based on your participation across a number of popular social networks, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Flickr, YouTube and even your own blogs! They are adding connections for FourSquare and Instagram.
