ParticipantI will take on Messenger Plus! 3.2. It'll give me a chance of getting down to the dirty work of it.

KeymasterWow! I'm overwhelmed by the response! Thanks for volunteering, but please don't feel obligated to help. I just wanted to put down my plans and give you a chance to pitch in where you were interested.
I may end up posting a list somewhere publically (probably not in a forum) eventually, but this is a good place to start out.
If you run across a good article, news story or tutorial on another site, let me know. I've often negotiated to cross-publish their article here at BBB with full credit and links back to the originating site.
And if you have ideas for content that I haven't covered, chime in!

MemberI know this topic is fairly dated, but I was just browsing through the Staff Room and came across it.
Jeff, are you still interested in having full reviews written for things like the new(ish) release of Yahoo Mesenger 7 Beta? I know we have a topic on this release, but maybe for future releases of IM clients?
If so, i'm quite willing to give up some time to write for you. Just putting my name forward really.

KeymasterAbsolutely! Getting good articles is a challenge, and even though we may have a forum topic on the subject, it's good to have a nice, concise review.
If there's a topic you'd like to tackle, let me know. I'll work with you to edit and get it ready for publishing.

If I do come up with anything though, I'll let you know, I quite enjoy a bit of creative writing y'see :p

ParticipantShifter, how's the Y! skins tutorial going? Last week I was talking to Toebee about doing some kind of FAQ/tutorial in the Yahoo skins subforum, just haven't had a whole lot of time to do much with it since.
***Sarah… is that chocolate chip cookies by any chance? :woot:

MemberI'll be writing articles with regards to IRC. I want people to feel welcome and know how everything works, so I'll be writing tutorials about how to register your nickname, register a channel etc.
As I said, I love writing but lack the time. If I do have time to write a couple articles, you can count on me to do so! 🙂

MemberI have a Yskin tutorial on my site right now. It may need to be worked over but the data is all there.
