Audio Not Working

I have tried to have lots of audio conversations with different people but it still doesnt work. could it be because i am using the Connection ova a LAN??

I do not think you have given enough information for people to help you. What is your operating system, version of messenger, have you always had this problem or did the problem only happen after connecting to the network?

Oh right sorry… In using XP Pro, Messenger 6.1.207 and i never had a microphone before i connected to the network.. When i start the convo it starts connecting to the other computer the it jst randomly stops before any audio is sent/recieved

MSN Msg 6.x has known issues with voice chats. Make sure you and your friends aren’t behind a router or other hardware firewall. If you are, it’ll be necessary to configure it to allow port forwarding and you’ll have to find out which ports MSN uses for audio.

Ok thanx for that.. I’ll just wait for the next main release with some bug fixes.. (Assuming it’ll have ’em)
