Hey everyone, I have been having probs with my avatar, audible, and yahoo photo albums coming up…..avs and audible pics don’t show, and when I try to look at someone’s shared albums in im, there are no pics coming up….is this an applet issue? I had to re-dl java, so I’m thinking probably? Anyone have any suggestions…..I’m frustrated
…oh I can’t see these smilies when they are in this text….

Hmm well for the avatars and audibles make sure you have the latest flash player installed. Also what version of yahoo are you using?

I am not sure what you mean by viewing there album thru IM? Or about the smileys…

Or about the smileys… Well the smilies on this right here will not show up as a smiley when I select it from the smiley menu above…and when I’m in a message box with someone, the share photos imvironment was up last night and I tried to view the pics, but no pics were there, but that could be flash player as well….I’m running V6 for YM…tried the 7 beta and it was a wreck

Ok, I installed flashplayer and it didnt work, do I need to un/reinstall YM? It didn’t work on the avatar page either…..I tried to change it but I can’t see any of them on the Customize My Avatar page
Are you still having a problem with viewing the IMViroment photo album? Also it is possible you have a corrupt file in your cache folder. If this is the case deleting it would fix it. Close messenger. Go to
C:Program FilesYahoo!MessengercacheAvatars
C:Program FilesYahoo!MessengercacheIconAnd delete all of the files in these folders then restart messenger. Also I read Yahoo recommends using Internet Explorer to install the flash player.
Hi, I am having the same problem, yes i deleted all the files in the 2 folders that yahoo said to on the help page, i even have the last Flash thingy. Still people cannot see my pic in the messenger window while chatting… I can see it at the bottom of my screen but the person i am talking to cannot..any other ideas?? Thanks
