I have a question about avatar sizes.
Would it be possible to bump it up from 96×96 to a nice, fat, round 100×100 or not? I’m asuming there is some reason as to why such a specific 96 was chosen? Anyway that’s my suggestion. I respect the 96 but everybody likes a nice big 100.;)
Hmm they already look big enough actually. I think 100 would look to big. You may think it isn’t but it would be addiing 2px to top, bottom, left and right wouldn’t be that much of a difference. I think 96 is a right size. Maybe even smaller would be better. heh.
Edit: Changed 4px to 2px.

Maybe even smaller would be better. heh.not to nitpick, but it would only be adding 2px to each side. :panyway… i dunno. i thought the avatars were fine back at the old size limit (48×64). i think that even though it would only be an extra little bit, 100×100 would just be too big. small changes can make big differences. besides, aren’t MSN avatars 96×96? (i dont use msn, so i dont know)

Actually, you’d be surprised how much of a standard 96×96 avatars are for forums. If you go to Google and search for sites that have lots of avatars, a standard size they offer is indeed 96×96. I see no reason to change it to 100×100, just take your avatar and make it smaller, it won’t look bad.
I don’t care if we bump it up to 100×100. After all, like Tigerblade said, it’s only adding 2 pixels to each side, which doesn’t make much of a difference. I’m fine with the current avatar sizes right now. I don’t even care that much about avatars anyway, though they do sometimes help distinguish who the poster is.
