MemberHi all,
I am wondering if there is any program or any way that avoids or returns negative results for BuddySpy checking???
Thanks a lot.

Edited:I just read this from the BuddySpy forum:
“Scan Types”
Invite Packet: No matter what you do Buddy-Spy will always say offline. “jamesusa got a reading of online becouse once you get a reading of online Buddy-Spy has a problem with reporting offline once it gave a report of online.”
Peer to Peer Packet: If the person you are trying to scan is
on your friends list, and the IM name of the bot you are useing
on their list, Buddy-Spy will work perfect.
Anything other then the two people on each other lists it will say offline.Unless you try to scan a IM name that is not created yet, it will say online.
Edited:
Avatar Packet: If the person that you are trying to scan has an avatar and they are online it will say offline, If they are offline it will say online. If the person does not have an avatar and they are online it will say online, if they are offline it will say offline.Web Check: If the person your trying to scan logs on
yahoo invisable or logs on as invisable then changes to Available Buddy-spy will say offline.
If they log on Yahoo Available or they log on Available then change to
invisable Buddy-spy will say online. If there offline, buddy spy will say offline.I am wondering if:
+ I remove the bot nickname which is used to scan my nickname from my nickname list.
+ Have no avatar.
+ Always log in with invisible mode.
+ Use latest YIMWill it help?
Thanks

ParticipantBuddyspy does not work anymore
It can not give a valid result due to changes by yahoo! on their network.

MemberHi,
I am sorry. You are right that BuddySpy doesn’t work properly anymore on the new YIM. However, I have heard that BuddyCheck can do the job now:
BuddyCheck – Detect Invisible Yahoo! Messenger Users
Has anyone used that?
Cheers

MemberThey all use the same methods. All “spying” programs do not function right anymore.

MemberBuddycheck merely uses a web check method easily avoidable, buddy spy has this method incorporated into it (and has for over 6 months now)
Buddy Spy release candidates are achieving a better accuracy rate.
