Is there any way that i can find out who checks my away messages on trillian? I’ve heard of someone that does it but I can’t ask them so it would be cool to know. Thanks.
In a word, no! Away messages are stored on AOL/MS/Yahoo’s servers so someone check your away message without anything going to or from your computer.
Maybe he meant he could tell when someone looks at his AIM profile. This is a bit tougher (read: I don’t know how to do it) but it is possible with HTML profiles.
alright so does anyone know how to check if someone’s checked your AIM profile?

Well I seem to remember you can use %n (or was it %s) to represent a person’s nick in a profile, so you could write a message “Hi %n, welcome to my profile” and it would come out with something like “Hi quietbritishjim, welcome to my profile”. That being the case you could put a 1x1pixel image in your profile that links to your own website and always returns a white square or something but includes %n in the URL. Then you could look back over your server logs to see what URLs have been requested.
If that sounds too complicated I think there might have been a way to do it using subprofiles. You might want to search the AIM forum for more info, since if you can do it in AIM then you can do it in Trillian in pretty much the same way.

This is an ICQ thing where they request your status message from your client. Pretty useless to be honest.
