There is one particular sn on my buddy list who usually has an away message up. However, everytime i click ‘get info’ it says “please wait…” and never comes up. after that, no one’s information comes up and i cannot recieve messages. sometimes i can still send messages though. Is there something she could have in there that would always lock up my system like that? why does that happen?
thanx
Do you have a dial-up connection? I have dial up when I’m home from college, and that problem happens to me all the time right before the dial-up connection decided to go screwy. If you do’nt have dial-up….well then, I dunno….hope that helps!
I’m not on dial-up. I can’t figure out why it just happens when i try to view that one sn’s information. it works jsut fine any other time or for anyone else.
Did you try to take the most obvious way and ask the person, rascat?
lmao, hell ive seen people actually put that in thier profile just to make people ask questions like this
Or people will put it so others wont give them crap about having a profile.
They will also put the AOL one: Note: AOL member profiles are not accessible through AOL Instant Messenger.
or
the no info provided: No Information Provided
I haven’t asked the person yet, I will as soon as I see them actually online, they are usually away. I know it’s not just something they typed in there, some of my buddies do have that. This is something that messes up the entire program where i can no longer recieve messages or check anyone’s information until i log off and sign back on.
