away messages all gone

I came back to my computer today and noticed all my away messages were gone. My sister said earlier all hers were gone, and now mine are gone.

I signed off, restarted the computer, thinking it was some glitch, and they were gone, and all the screen names I had on my main login screen were gone.

Whats happened?!?!

Unfortunately, the file which holds all of your away messages locally has been somehow deleted. You beter get typing. 😉

Away messages are stored in the Windows Registry… Something must have removed them somehow. It doesn’t sound like your entire AIM registry was deleted or else the screennames wouldn’t be listed on the login screen anymore.
