If you’re like me, and use Facebook often and tend to go a little more gray in the hair when attempting to load a friends page when they have several HUNDRED applications — here is your band-aid fix until Facebook fixes the issue.
Stigmata, as wonderful as he is, passed this link onto me, and how I’m passing it onto you. Enjoy.

i have a few friends with profiles where you end up scrolling down for about fifteen minutes before you get to their wall… it’s ridiculous.

I, myself, become somewhat ill when someone’s application list looks kind of like this:

No seriously, I pruned and deleted about 30 apps recently & started ignoring a ton of requests just because of this very problem (my profile really did have that many icons at one point!!) I too have contacts where you scroll endlessly to find their wall or something and it really is frustrating.
Thanks for the info!!

Facebook to me is nothing more than a networking/stay-in-touch site like it started out as. It’s devolved into a playground for 12 year olds, unfortunately.

May 13, 2008 at 7:41 am #166100iloveconor.comMemberAs time goes by, they have restricted them more and more. Hopefully, they will trash them all together.

Absolutely not. Do you have any idea how much more valuable the concept and base of applications make the facebook platform? They’re here to stay, even if they’ll continue to be lock down the API. I’m glad I can sue the twitterSync app, everything else is pretty useless.
June 6, 2008 at 1:41 am #166094detn8rParticipantHas anyone else noticed they no longer have the option to use this script to block applications? Most of them are still blocked, but some of them are starting to get through. Am I missing something here?
