Hello , peoples ! First I would like to say I have been coming to this site for forever and have gotten all kinds of info that has helped me and allowed me to help friends with they’re problems thanks to all of you screwing up your yahoo messanger ! 🙂 Appreciate the help .
Obviously this is my first post , I’ve been meanin to sign up for the longest time but just never got around to it , till today .
So , here we go . I turned on my cam earlier and saw a name flash in the viewers list . Just came and went . Had I blinked I would have missed it . I have it set to allways ask permission and checked that it was still set that way and it was . When I checked the bandwidth it was at zero like it should have been with no viewers ( I checked as soon as I saw the name flash ) . So , if someone had some how been able to sneak into my cam and remove themselves but still be viewing ( ya I know , touchy subject , used to be able to do that , as far as I know thats been fixed ) , I would know by bandwidth use no ?
Sorry for the somewhat long post . Thanks again to everyone for all the help I have got by reading all your posts .
Not really only if the Cam was Broadcasting Supermode
As the Cam sends frames of JPG images to the yahoo! webcam servers viewing or not on normal mode so your bandwidth will move slightly with that transfer.
However it could have been part of the Yahoo! network glitch at the moment with getting online popups from other peoples buddy lists in the chatrooms you’re in.
but if it was that quick you didn’t see it i wouldnt worry about it.
As far as i know the Duff cam cookie view exploit was patched and still is, but you never know.
