hey does any1 have a clue whether Kazaa Lite and Imesh ( i use only these 2) eat up all bandwidths or ???? Well for dl stuff from sites I use Flashget v1.4 and when I am surfing it uses min bandwidth and if not surfing it uses all the bandwidth, but kazaa and Imesh I think use all the b/w irrespective of u being surfing or not!!! any clues???

it’s NOT possible for a program to use all your Internet bandwidth while your surfing, where would the bandwidth that you use to view/load websites come from then? So I really don’t know what the heck your saying.

I hope you got me this time

Does this constitute bandwidth hogging by Kazaa? prolly it does. Imesh carries a few bandwidth thieves often called spyware.

well thanx for the reply!!! also, I am using Imesh Lite( I forgot to mention LITE), so it doesnt have any spywares!!! and I am on cable net and get an average speed of 12kbps (which is a lot in India) while downloading!!! So, I think that maybe its 2 less for Kazaa or Imesh!!! but mind u they steal the bandwidth!!!
