Can I suggest promote further brand-awareness by the simple mechanism of a (lightblue?) colour background in the BBB Google Search.
I use my own such one (lightgreen) often, and after a while I just “don’t see” the branding image up top, but I’m always “aware” of the colour, reminding me I’m NOT just on plain vanilla Google.

Example of customised with background colourOk, I’m testing it out with color here in the forums. We’ll see how it works. I’m not so concerned about “branding” on those search results. In fact, I’d almost prefer that people clearly understood that the results were from Google. Who has the stronger brand? Google or BigBlueBall? 🙂

It does look pretty bad. I’d rather have lower “brand-awareness” than a search page that ugly. Stick to Google White, the customization is just not pretty enough to be worth the change. IMO.
