Ok, 2 Of My Friends Said When They Updated To AIM 5.5 There Is Something That Makes Them ”Invisible” As ICQ And Yahoo Do… I Thought That Only AOL Members Could Do That But They Don’t Have AOL, Just AIM. I Have AIM 5.5.3145 Beta (Or Something Of That Sort) Downloaded Becuz I Wanted To Be Able To Use Aimutation… Does Anyone Know How I Can Be Invisible?? PlZ RePlY!!!!
Do you see a small ‘eye’ icon on your buddylist? (Right under the AOL ad), if so, click it and you will go invisible and the eye will shut, click again and you will be visible and the eye will open.
No, I Dont See It… I Got Rid Of The Adds Tho, But Do You Think That Maybe Since I Have Aimutation That It Isnt There? And Do U Know If There Is Anyway I Can Keep Aimutation But Have The Normal AIM Look?

Yes there is a way to have the normal AIM look with AIMUtation but I can’t currently find it.
Even if you set AIM to show everything on your buddylist, the eye icon still doesn’t appear, so it might have been entirelly removed by the guys at Aimutation.

well if u want to keep AIMuatation u have to use AIM 5.2.3292 or 5.5.3415. AIMutation hasn’t been updated yet to work with the newest AIM that will let u go invisible.
Doesn’t AIM 5.5.3415 have Linking and the invisible ability? I was under the impression that all of the AIM 5.5’s have invisibility and linking.

Nope, i have 5.5.3415 and it doesn’t have the invisibility and linking. This was the first beta in the 5.5 version and i think it only came out with msn style notifications.
Ok, well i guess i will just live with out the invisability til aimutation works with 5.5 cuz i have like 5.5.3145 or sumthing that beta one, and i dun have it… well thanx anyway… and i found out how to get my reg. aim look… well maybe u guys can answer this… if i get rid of aimutation is there anyway i can ‘define custom colors’ for when i want to pick my font colors (thats the only reason i have aimutation, cuz i have all those color choices!!) plz reply!
Just give up on AIMmutation, thats what I did with deadAIM, but as soon as they update for the new aim, im getting it back.

Yea you wont sign off on yours but everyone elses you will…odd huh…and the custom colors thing im still looking for that myself lol

Someone sent me a message while I was invisable and away from my computer once from a different fourm. I didn’t have them on my buddy list, and they don’t know me. Is it possible that I showed up as online on their list even though I was invisible??? Or is there a hack to see people who are invisible? I really don’t think they would have randomly tried to send me a message while it said I was offline. I don’t need to know how to do it, I like being invisible instead of signing off, but if some people still think i’m online I can’t do that anymore.
