Being Seen While Invisible!?

When using Trillian, and set invisible with the ICQ connection, those using ICQ (not with Trillian) who have me on their visible list are able to see me. They are not on my visible list. Any idea why they can still see me? I want to be invisible on Trillian’s ICQ connection sometimes with no one seeing me. How can I accomplish that?

a similar “bug” (maybe) of trillian is that when you set urself to invisible but keep the chat window open with someone, you can keep talking to them but at their end you appear offline…was this deliberate or is this a problem with Trillian?
