2004 was a record year for games, especially for GTA San Andreas. So what’s your favorite game that was released the past year? Was was it that made it special?
I’ve gone for COD – Finest Hour. Such a brilliant game, in my opinion it’s much better than Medal Of Honor (which is still good!).
What was it that made it special? I don’t know really, the excellent graphics? The realistic gamplay? The different challenges? All of them?
Probably all of them, but I was a fan of the original COD game anyway, so this was a must buy for me.
I put other because I like Everquest2 (EEEk…it’s been down for two days so I actually put a GRAPHIC in my signature…I’m lame..but at least I know it;) ). I probably would have voted Sims2….but I don’t have it yet. Some sources tell me I may have it for Christmas…hmmm..I may have to change my vote then.
Halo 2 is one of the only ones that I have played on that list. I got to play it in someone’s home theater, very nice. Once I get GTA:SA for christmas, that will probably be my favorite game. Oh BTW, one of the kids at my school is ranked like 150th in the nation at Halo 2.
Halo 2 is the only one that i’ve played. But it rocked, all the new vehicles were really cool and everything.
It’s funny how Nintendo games are almost never nominated for these things nowadays. I liked Metroid Prime Echoes as my favorite game of the year. I have not played the other ones so this is my pick. I also don’t think a game has to be super violent or super good looking to be game of the year.
San Andreas is the best game i’ve played this year. I’ve played Halo 2, but I don’t like shooters on consoles so I didn’t think much of it. Half Life 2 looks amazing but I havn’t had chance to play it yet. So maybe it has a chance of being better than GTA… but for now, GTA is definetly my favourite..
Yea, I downl…er, bought it a while ago. Pretty fun, but just like all the other strategy games everywhere.
San Andreas because it gives you a lot of freedom to do what you want and I have played every one since the first one came out.
