Even though Windows is a resource hog compared to Linux it still has many user friendly features. Personally, the best os I have come across is Win 2K pro ( running on the NTFS format). It is very reliable, more so than 98se, Win ME, or Win XP…but that is just my humble opinion. Mind you that I am not knocking Linux at all, but Linux is much harder for people to find good support for, especially free.
Linux Red Hat Fedora. Without a doubt.
You’ll be amazed how user friendly it is compared to Windows. 🙂And doc_rock, Linux is hard to get free support for? Since when does Google cost money? And since when are opensource chatrooms not free anymore? Sorry, but it’s actually Windows for which it’s hard to get free support. Why? Because it’s ran by a company which wants to earn money, and not by individuals who care about their product.
