However, I dislike blocking pop-ups most of times, because I like to see what they are before I decide to close the pop-ups. So I’m giving Google ToolBar five stars and I recommend everyone to give it a try. 🙂
June 30, 2003 at 4:44 am #94221magistykMemberI don’t use Pop-Up blockers, I don’t get a lot of pop-ups and sometimes I’d like to see what they are first. Some sites have pop-ups for notices from them, and not ads.

anyways there is a browser I -Net Tabs!!! Its a small and gr8 browser and it asks bfor opening any pop up, so u can even stop the pop up and if u wish u can view it also!!! so just search on google!!!
P.S.:- its freeJuly 5, 2003 at 5:24 am #94220detn8rParticipantId also reccomend Crazy Browser. Its a small download, and runs off IE. Great pop-up utility.
Just also woundering. Does anyone know of a blocker that does not need to tp press any commands to open a hyperlink (ex: ALT enter). but does block out automatic ones?

C) I’m on a 3m/s cable line, It doesn’t slow anything down for me :).
July 6, 2003 at 4:18 pm #94231DaJMan1800MemberOh yeah just like Jeff said, get the google toolbar. It’s really helpfull, puts the search engine right in your browser. The popup blocker is great, never missed a popup, doesn’t close browser windows, and Earthlink is spyware.

July 7, 2003 at 6:26 pm #94223BrianMemberAd Muncher is a little nice software, but it slows down my surfing habit though I am on ADSL so I had to uninstall the software. I don’t care for little banners.
