Beta 2 as a middle man?

Hi guys, I just got home and I had this “im using beta 2 as a middle man to enhance your aim experience” or something, in my profile. I dont know what this is, but im assuming its bad. My friend told me it might allow other people to read what I am typing online. If anyone knows what this is…could you tell me. And also…how to prevent it from happening again or how I get rid of it off my computer?!

Don’t worry its not bad. It’s just an AIM add-on by the name of middle-man. There’s an option in the add-on menu that advertises in your profile. DeadAIM also has this option. Do you have other people that use AIM in your house? If so, they probably downloaded the program. You can pick up the add-on here. On another note they fixed a bug that caused direct connection problems.
