No I didnt mean witdh and height I meant the file size.

Sorry for the confusion on my question.

I just dont like the file size limitations because I have sound files that I cant reduce to that size that I wanna use.

exactly If the restriction is only set by the program it can be tweaked only problem is most likely the program is also set to only read buddy icons that are smaller 8k so that other people wouldnt be able to hear it

I’m not sure what you mean by a link. I have made my own that are pretty decent. But what you do is u need to make the sound file below the size limit and then when your going to select your buddy icon u go to the folder tha thas the file and put in * and press enter in the filename input box and then it will show all file types. You then select your sound file and hit ok. Most people find it annoying but who cares what they think.

I managed to shring a file that says “You have the right not be an asshole, if you give up that right everything you say and do in here will be held agianst you”

I also got ones that say:
Insuficient data to formulate a reply (in a robotic voice)
Just one moment please
(Freaky laugh)
Shut up you putz
(Spam song… come the spam, wonderfull spam)

So far the best program I found for this is cool edit. If you know of a easier or better one plz let me know.

You should find a tutorial on how to use cool edit to shring em down a lot.
