MemberWill try to be concise. Target ID: 1. Never online unless showing online in Yahoo since was foolish enough to mention buddy spy (correction one time). 2.Constantly appears to be signing back in but was never offline. 3.Shows online after internet cafe closes them plus cam even after cafe is closed for a while. 4. Is on a wierless island. 5. Cam sent to ID appears to go black often but not with other ID’s. 6. Cam was viewed while ID was offline again. 7. ID flashed on and then offline when, I, finally closed cam the last time–could have been time for human response.
Looking for reasurance that these things are possible so as not to lose faith in someone who says “internet connection is bad.” Have looked into multiuser logins for yahoo but other then finding it susoicious that the first time a second ID was logged in it showed Idle no matter what settings were adjusted. (Lost read me file and have no idea where multilogin is in comoputer now may have to crush it with utility) No matter what have not been able to find setting that shows offline in buddy spy with my web cam being broadcast. Have lost ability to use “peep to peer” in buddy spy but invite works now (hurray) after downloading multilogin program. Will have to try invite next time Target goes offline. Seems like too much trouble yes but it is interesting to try and understand these internet programs and it helps to keep from making acusations. Hope someone can help. Will not be sending keyloggers so may never no. OH yes office computer win 98 Target is.March 20, 2006 at 4:49 am #140408Fancy

MemberNewbalanda, theoretically all those 7 things you listed above are possible, especially if you take the current yahoo glitches and server changes into consideration.
Of course the “target” could be lying to you as well…. why don’t you just ask them and talk about it if its that important to you?Actually these measures of controlling and spying on people online (even if its not malicious) are really starting to annoy me. It seems that alot of people have nothing better to do than constantly checking on their buddies and trying to find out what they might do online (or not).
Don’t get me wrong, I use programs like Buddy Spy myself and they are surely useful and fun… but why can’t some people just accept it when somebody is invisible to them although they’re logged in? It doesn’t necessarily mean that somebody’s cheating or disliking or whatever.
I mean ok, maybe I am sometimes invisible to some of my buddy list although I am at my desk and talking to others. But isn’t that my right of privacy?
Does the fact that i have yahoo messenger installed give all the other users a right to know what i do every minute of the day?
Those who are really my friends know that i won’t do anything that could hurt them and thus respect it if i may be invisible to them (and vice versa).Hehe sorry, got a bit carried away, i better stop now 🙂

ParticipantI just joined BigBlueBall…totally frustrated with the black screen when trying to use YM with my new web cam. I read through almost every post..and somewhere back on page 7..someone said you can’t use your cam with MSN and Yahoo at the same time. DUH! The logitech software was running..I could see myself there..but not when activating through Yahoo. When I closed the logitech software…Ta Dah! I was so impressed with myself..I had to leave this post! This is for all us stupid people! Cheers.

Memberannetteflgirl,
ummmm I see it as you are smart. The way I look at it is you had a little problem and you looked for an answer so you read the forum and this gave you some idea as to a solution and Ta Dah (problem solved).
and if that wasn’t brillant all by itself you shared this experience with all of us here so we could use your post to add to our tools of knowledge.
Not a thing stupid about that (nope) noway
Keep up the great work. -
