MemberHi
I have blocked ppl on my msn but they are able to send messages to me in the form of someone signing in. So for example, the following msg ” Hi big boy” would come up, Hi has just signed in, big has just signed in, boy has just signed in. These all come ontop of each other.
Sorry for poor explanation, hope u can help.

KeymasterSo you still get sign-in alerts for people on your blocked list? That’s actually a feature. There are two alternatives. You can either turn of the sign-on alerts (through Tools > Options > Preferences, uncheck “Display alerts when contacts come online”), or you can delete the blocked user from your contact list.

MemberOk, thanx for that explanation. From reading other posted msgs i now know about blocking etc. But how is this person able to appear as 4 or 5 ppl signing in at the same time, so that their names make up a msg???
Thanx

MemberThere are add-ons that let you do that kinda trick, but before you run off looking for them, beware! Many people like to use login alerts, and end up blocking their friends who use these tools because they can get annoying really fast.

MemberI have an MSN Program that can do a “Name Bomber” which, on the victims pc, signs in for times with whatever messages you want on them.
Eg, (as u were saying) “Hi has just signed in”… etc… “Please”, “Unblock”, “Me”, and so on.

Dont skirt around the issue by putting up a smokescreen such as:Quote:quote: Don’t you think it is the same reason those files have virus?Quote:quote:follow me… heheheOK, I’ll follow, which virus is within those files?
I’ll assume from your silence you have no idea, get on the plan here, If you have nothing of significance to add…………..

MemberGreat reply, so simple when you know how. 🙂
?W32. klex? if this is a variant of the W32.klez virus I’m surprised your AV software didnt pick it up as its been around since prior to mid November last year. Time to update?
Trojans………. yup so simple to keep out of the system, combine a good AV app with an equally good firewall n you dont have a worry.rustedtight.
