Netsavvy, a blue error screen could be any number of problems. Posting the actual message on the Blue Screen may help us determine what is causing your problems.
Also, I don’t imagine she wants to spend a few hundred dollars to upgrade her OS just to solve this problem – why not recommend purchasing an entirely new system as a solution – Only as a last resort is this a fair suggestion.
Also I do believe Netsavvy had stated that she was running Windows 98 NOT Windows ME. All of the off topic arguments about which OS is better seems to have confused people about the actual problem and what her system actually is.
