Booted at 6:10pm

Hi … I just notice an odd behaviour when I am on yahoo messenger chat room , At 6:10 pm I always get booted , Everyday at this time , Does this happen to anyone else ?

Hi Snooker.
I’ve never heard of anything like that from Yahoo – I’d strongly suspect it’s something else running/interfering on your PC.
R u able to try at 6:10pm being on some OTHER PC to see if it still occurs ?

And is your system free of viruses/spyware etc ?

And also, just for the record, what time zone are you in ?

It sounds really odd that you got booted at a specific time. As if your Y!M has a boot-bomb built in it. Kindly try the suggestion of Sir Kiwi, and tell us the result.

Hi … I know it does sound odd , I have no sypware , It will even happen from a clean install of xp pro sp2 retail version , Time zone is eastern startand time ( Canada / USA ) … This will happen with different accounts as well , Though I haven’t yet try it on a different ISP / Computer , I will try that next , Thanks

hey snooker,
i had a similar problem a few months ago. What caused the problem in my case was, that my antivirus updated its virus definitions etc. every 2 days at the same time. During that automatic update certain applications on my comp ran very slow all of a sudden or froze. Maybe your problem is caused by a similar thing?

Hi … You might be right , I change my anti-virus program and I am not getting booted now at 6:10 , I’m still getting booted but not at the same time , Thanks for your suggestion
