In Trillian (MSN), the buddy icons don’t show up when I scroll over their names with my cursor. Its either blank, or just shows their status image. I know someone else who uses Trillian, and they can see other people’s buddy icons simply by placing their cursor over their names.
I can only see the buddy icons for my MSN contacts when I actually open up a message window. Is there a setting that I have to change to be able to see their buddy icons just by placing the cursor over their names?
I have the same problem but Im only using basic I’m not sure if that’s why or not…But I would like help too if its compatable with basic
Well…I’m using Trillian Pro, so its supposed to work. I’m not sure if it works in the basic (0.74) version.
I also use the Whistler skin, which supports buddy icons, unlike the Cordillera skin.
There’s no option to turn buddy icons in the contact list on/off, it should just work. It should even work with skins that don’t have buddy icons in message windows, in fact.
btw this feature isn’t available on basic
