I used to be able to do it, but I have since forgotten how to remove MY name from someone else’s buddy list without their permission. Can you please help me out?!!!

I doubt very much that you can. I think only by asking them can you be removed.

Yes I am afraid they are right, I have tried that one myself, the only way I found was to delete the person from my own list, and then block them by clicking your ignore button, that pretty much prevents them from contacting you …….
