Once in a while, I will get a message that pops up and says something along the lines of “Your buddy list and buddy icon are currently unavailable, but not lost. Please try again later.” What does this mean, and how/why does it happen?
This happened for the first time today. I came back to the computer, and my buddy list said 0/136 on the online tab, and I had that popup. I signed off and it was fine. Its just an AIM issue probablly, although I do have middleman, though I doubt that’s the problem.
so here i am back with this problem. about once a day, my buddylist will sign off, and when i try to sign back on, it has the message that the icons and list are not available, but not lost. it happens when i drop my books on my desk. is this the problem, or could hitting the computer wire be a problem?
Maybe it is just AIM?
