Hi all,
I have successfully figured out a way to configure a buddy pounce like the one on GAIM. I tested this on Trillian Pro 3.1.0.121.
On your Contacts List:
Trillian > Trillian Preferences > Advanced Preferences > Automation > Add: Automation
Under Program Generated Event: Contact List:Contact Signon
Under Action Type: Send Message
Make sure the contact is on your buddy list and make sure it does not say default, and that it says your screenname.

Can some people please give me some feedback on this?
What an excelelnt idea, add an event to send a message. The only downside is that you need to make sure to remove the notification after it’s been sent, becuase whenever your buddy signs on or off, they will recieve that same nessage whenever that event is on until you turn it off or remove it.
