If you are using Yahoo messenger change your connection type to use firewall without proxy.
Buddy Spy automatically thinks you are offline.Well this has been brought up many times before (and in othe threads that i don’t feel like looking up right now). We know that firewall with no proxies does this, but when you use this option you lose the ability of voice and webcam so it’s not all that good.
I know you posting this was all in good intention but i suggest next time searching before doing so! Since if you search you will find this has been mentioned lots of times. Also don’t forget to add the draw-backs before giving suggestions… like in this case the loss of voice and cam.
forgot to say, you will be unable to use anything p2p based, Photo Sharing, Webcam, File Transfer, ect.
No need to be sorry! I didn’t mean to sound harsh, just think people should be given ALL information before they make changes because later when they try things like voice, photo sharing, cam, etc and it doesn’t work… then they think that their messenger has just broken down or they messed something up. So it’s better to make sure they know the draw-backs when making changes like this to avoid being spied on. Sorry if i sounded harsh!
I tried changeing my connection type since I never done it before. Then I tried buddy spy on myself. It was a while later when I found out nothing was working. Bye the time I came in here to give the info you already gave it. lol
