New version 2.2.11 RC 10 was just released 9/20/06
“Scan Types”
Invite Packet: No matter what you do it will always say offline.
Peer to Peer Packet: If the person you are trying to scan is
on your friends list, and the IM name of the bot you are useing
on their list, It will work perfect.
Anything other then the two people on each other lists it will say offline.Unless you try to scan a IM name that is not created yet, it will say online.
Edited: Avatar Packet: If the person that you are trying to scan has an avatar and they are online it will say offline, If they are offline it will say online. If the person does not have an avatar and they are online it will say online, if they are offline it will say offline.
With the new yahoo photos you can see who has an avatar.
Web Check: If the person your trying to scan logs on
yahoo invisable or logs on as invisable then changes to Available, Buddy-spy will say offline.
If they log on Yahoo Available or they log on Available then change to

Just becouse they have an avatar they don’t have to show it. Except for the new Yahoo photos. If you can join the new Yahoo photos click on all my friends photos, Then for add friends box enter the ID you want to see if they have an avatar, click Add
If they have an avatar it will show.September 23, 2006 at 2:29 pm #152514codneimMemberAll this IFs are a headache. I can’t see how the usual user will actually bother to read all those “if-else-then”s. Personally I’m very happy that Yahoo! woke up and secured their servers better, for user privacy sake…
September 26, 2006 at 2:02 pm #152515hermosabeachbabeMemberok, I’m confused……so are you saying Buddy Spy no longer works unless someone has an Avitar and then you can tell? I haven’t used my Buddy Spy in forever, but just checked it and it shows everyone as offline. Hmmmm

Buddyspy Does not work properly.
You cannot depend on it’s results anymore.
It’s report will be erratic and lack of consistency will give a lot of false positives
it was a good program in its day but yahoo has made these changes for a reason and they seem to be working fine like the stealth option.
