I noticed a new post in Downloads about BuddyCheck.
I was about to reply, and politely!? ask what interest the poster might have in it (was it “his”?! maybe) AND/or could he give some review of the product, etc.
But I happened to then check/find his OTHER post, under Yahoo Add-ons, where he DOES actually state that he wrote it.
I just wonder is it ok to post twice like this (doesn’t seem too bad to me, as I figure such info truly “belongs” in both places) – and does anyone have any other doubts or misgivings.
Personally I don’t really mind – it’s not done in an over-the-top way, and indeed such a program could interest many here.
(Though, again personally, I wouldn’t touch it – OR BuddySpy – as I don’t WISH to know things my friends don’t wish me to know 😉 )
My reasoning for not deleting his double post was because in the Sumbit Your Favorite Yahoo Program Here thread, i would like to keep it to only programs and no comments or questions. The other thread he created would serve as the place people asked questions just as BuddySpy has it’s own other thread. The only thing that i e-mailed the poster about was adding more details about the fact that he only offers a trial version then you must pay a certain amount to continue using it. Anyone else have any input in this matter?
EDIT: I noticed he did comply after i e-mailed him and added price and all.
