Hey I just need help on webcams,I’ve been thinkin on buyin a webcam so when I talk to my family members that live in the states can see me and all but when I asked my bro if a webcam with the resolution of 320/240 or one thats 352/240 is good like if it lets others see u clearly and will the images be a little faster or not he always gives me the same answer, That cam sucks. The thing is that I dont want to spend hundreds of dollars for a cam u know so could u guys help me out here :). Gracias 😉
I can only say that most Logitech QuickCams are of good quality. Of course you get what you pay for, and the QuickCam Pro 4000 (approx. $99) is really good, especially when you’re both on a fast connection such as DSL or Cable it’s absolutely smooth and fast. The QuickCam Messenger is a lot cheaper (around $35 I believe) and has pretty good quality images, although not as good as with the QuickCam Pro 4000. I’ve only seen the QuickCam Messenger used by someone on dial-up though, so it might be really good too when used with a faster connection.
ok thanks for the response ese but the cam costs $172 dollars plus taxes here in Canada and Im actually being greedy u could say but I wouldnt pay that much for a webcam. But I did get one and Im wondering if this is a good resolution or no 640/240
As far as I know normally the sizes are 640×480 or 320×240… maybe you have a widescreen webcam 😉
I’d made a stupid mistake in one of the two sizes, sorry
Gee, that price in Canada is really steep. I just bought TWO Logitech QuickCam Pro 4000 for a total of $104.00. Of course, this was a special, but made them only $52.00 EACH. (And no shipping charges) Can you buy on the Internet – maybe you should try that.
Sorry – forgot to tell you where I bought the two cams – from Amazon on the Internet. Good Luck!
