ParticipantWhat you are asking is treading on a thin line of breaking our Forum policy on Hacking. What you are asking is for someone to help you “crack” a password protected file. You haven’t offered any explanation as to the nature of the file you need to gain acces to, or even whether or not its in fact your own private file. You could be trying to access someones elses private information. Our forum policy is against this sort of activity. I think you are likely on your own here.

Memberoks, ur right…..looks like if im trying to crack a password, but… the only explaination i have its that i have lost information at my pc, i asked for some help to recover some files, and those files some are protected, those files are mines….im not trying to crack it for no one, just that we keep some privacy here and protect them…and now that i got them back, i dont have acccess, seems to be damaged after recover them….

MemberQuote:quote:now that i got them back, i dont have acccess, seems to be damaged after recover them….Maybe Excel is confused with that corrupt nature of file and giving you that password error?
Because a password can not appear on an excel file on its own if you didn’t set it.
In that case advance excel password recovery software won’t be of any help I guess.December 10, 2003 at 7:47 pm #87597 -
