I’m looking for some kind of program, preferably free or trial version, that can create calendars in an ical or vcal format so I can put them on my iPod. Any help would be greatly appriciated.
Thanks again everyone.Sorry, did a bit of research on Google, and it looks like the only thing that can make iCal files is, well, “iCal”, and that’s a Mac-Only program. But just becuase I didn’t find something, doesn’t mean you won’t. Keep looking!
if you use Mozilla Firefox as your browser you can download an extention called calendar. after you edit/create your calendar you can export it in ical format. if you don’t use firefox the calendar project also has a standalone of this extention called SunBird.
you may also want to take a look at Outport. which exports in ical and vcal format from Outlook (from MS Office not Outlook Express).

SunBird is licensed under Mozilla Public License version 1.1 (MPL), GNU General Public License version 2 or later (GPL), GNU Lesser General Public License version 2.1 or later (LGPL)found on google by searching “windows ical create calendar” this lead me to http://icalworld.com/news.html. which then if you scroll down and look on the left side you see many different windows applications. one of them being the calendar project.
