Cam keeps deleting itself.

hey peoples,

I just recently got a webcam, i’ve had it for over 3 days now. And for some reason, everytime I turn my computer off, it like uninstalls my cam. So that, when I turn my computer on, I have to reinstall it again, than when I reinstall it again, it chucks a sh!tty when I click view my cam, and restarts my computer, re-occuring. It’s really bugging me, I have to install/uninstall it several times before it stops restarting my comp and actually works. For some reason, it wont put it in cam devices in control panel; it just deletes itself. I’ve got windows xp professional, and it’s a CMOS 100K-R Rev. 1.90.

Any idea’s would be great!! It’s really bugging me and I dont know what to do, and if I need to download the updated web driver or anything. Please help me!!!!!!!
