The font on the buddy list depends on what skin you’re using. To change the font you could just change the skin.
On the other hand if you really like the skin you’re using at the moment, you could try hacking the skin a little (which is perfectly ok if you don’t try and distribute it). If you want to try this tell me what skin you’re using and I’ll happily help.

Are you even using the same program?
You can’t use Trillian without a skin, maybe what you mean is you’re still using the default skin. Go to preferences, choose the “skin” option and choose “launch skin chooser” and it will tell you what skin you’re using.
There is no display->appearances. There is a windows->fonts but that only applies to instant message windows not the contact list.
June 27, 2003 at 3:24 am #61132Jeff HesterKeymasterBy the way CloudScrap, I changed the title of your topic. If you want help, you need to create a descriptive title for your topic, as stated in our Posting Guidelines.
If you use a descriptive title, the person with the right answer is more likely to notice your post (and therefore reply).
And for what it’s worth, quietbritishjim is still right! 😉
June 28, 2003 at 3:19 am #61138Joshua TretakoffMemberWell, I’ll take you up on the offer, QuietBritishJim. I’m using the Dark Bezel Skin, and I’m looking to do a “Matrix” effect on it. I’d like to change the font to OCR A Extended, and a brightish green color.
Any suggestions?

Sorry I’ve taken so long getting back. The file you need to play with is colours.trillian.ext in the drkbevelcore directory (despite its name it also contains the font settings). I will have a look at it myself and post back later, unless you post back first saying you’re not interested any more.
